The backcoating process involves the application of a water durable, breathable flame-retardant finish to the underside of the fabric and, therefore, has no effect on colour, finish or face of the fabric; however, once treated, there will be a slight stiffening.

Note If you are looking to use a fabric for upholstery and you need it to be
flame retardant please add this, times as many metres of fabric you are ordering.
There is a minimum charge of £51.00, which covers 10 metres
