Chair Reupholstery Transformations

This re-upholstery project is a wonderful example of taking a sturdy, loyal piece of furniture and turning it into a bold statement chair. The large scale pomegranate design with its rich plum purples, really makes for a theatrical spectacle when upholstered on furniture.

The client has chosen to add a skirt to the base of the chair, giving it a soft feminine look, fitting for a bedroom space or cosy cottage living room. There really are no rules when designing your upholstery, it’s a chance to play around with fringes, ruffles and piping, we have it all on offer in our showroom and online library.

A faithful, well-loved occasion chair due a revamp and boy, have they been revamped. Covered in a glorious golden mustard linen with warm red flowerheads and leafy motifs, the chair has been brought back to life. A studded trim has been added, accentuating the beautiful curves of the antique design.

We were excited about this renovation, as this fabric is one of the team’s favourites, and the result has confirmed our high hopes. What a pretty item to introduce to a bedroom, or living space, to bring pattern and colour to a interior scheme.

This chair here has been covered in Navaho velvet fabric, with the pattern flowing with the shape of the chair. The padding and backing have been replaced, giving it an all-over fresher finish. We loved receiving these final shots from Interior Designers, Consult by FD of their project in Chichester, West Sussex.  This Grade II listed Arts & Crafts building is positioned at the top of a hill with beautiful views of the English channel and the surrounding land.
