Made-to-Measure Cushions for a Window Seat

Sara asked for some of her bespoke scatter cushions – to go on a window seat and sofas in a traditional-look lounge – to feature Turkish corners, also known as pleated corners. This unusual, subtle style detail has the effect of giving cushions a softer, plush and plump look as the corners are rounded.

About the Design...

The Turkish corners may be a subtle style detail, but the impact is as surprising as it is distinctive. It makes the cushions stand out on the sofa as particularly bespoke, adding a stylish touch to the interior.

We also love Sara's choice of the classic French floral/rabbit design in mustard yellow and white, Toile De Lapins, by Nicholas Herbert as well as the bench-seat-cushion fabric Windrush, which is such a gorgeous detailed floral design. It features delicate green and brown branches twirling across the pattern, with wild flowers, birds and insects in a multitude of colours.
