Business Showroom Transformation | Seven Integration and F&P Interiors

When our neighbours, Seven Integration - a leading smart home technology company - found their new offices in Hove, they naturally turned to us to transform the empty shell into a show-stopping showroom. Their brief was clear: create an inspiring, welcoming environment where customers could experience their cutting-edge smart technology first-hand. With a showroom, meeting space and a state-of-the-art cinema room, the studio needed styling from the floor up - combining innovation with comfort and exceptional design.

The project began with a design consultation with Emma, our Head Interior Designer, in our Sussex Showroom. Home to collections from over 100 leading designers, Alex and Matt, founders of Seven Integration, were able to explore fabrics and wallcoverings and try our furniture in person to see which styles they preferred and which fillings felt most comfortable. With a clear creative direction established, Emma developed a series of design options for each space, allowing for ideas to be explored and refined. A selection of samples was sent to be viewed in situ, ensuring colours, textures and materials worked harmoniously within the setting. Emma later visited the site to support the installation process, offering hands-on guidance to ensure every detail was realised as intended.

Take the Tour...

As you enter the showroom, you are immediately drawn to the striking Untitled Mural wallpaper. This richly textured, multicoloured wallcovering features bold blocks of colour printed onto natural raffia fibres. Bespokely scaled to the proportions of the space, it creates a dramatic yet perfectly balanced first impression.

Underfoot, Karndean parquet flooring guides you from one space to the next, while a neutral 100% Wool Tipple carpet subtly defines each zone within the open-plan showroom.

Moving through to the open-plan hi-fi lounge, a pair of Paston chairs invite you to sit down. Upholstered in soft Lana wool, their warm, burnt-orange tones complement the wider colour scheme and introduce a gentle nod to retro design. Above, state-of-the-art lighting demonstrates how it can dramatically transform the atmosphere of a room and ensures that the interiors are showcased to look their best.

Designed as a place to relax and enjoy music, the lounge centres around a state-of-the-art hi-fi system, neatly displayed on the elegant Chester sideboard. A bespoke blackout Roman blind enhances the residential feel, while a full-height curtain glides effortlessly along a discreet electric track, allowing the space to be drawn closed for a more intimate experience. Made in Duo, a double-sided blackout fabric and finished with a Paprika Ribbon trim to hide the seam, this thoughtful detail brings the scheme together nicely.

Moving through to the stylish meeting room, textured wallpaper continues a sense of continuity throughout the space. At the centre of the room, the stunning Gabriella ceiling pendant provides a strong, modern focal point that balances form with function.

Keeping the scheme clean and contemporary, the curtains, made in Midori fabric, are mounted on a concealed electric track. This relaxed linen blend, with its beautifully soft handle, drapes effortlessly at the window while the wave curtain heading enhances the modern aesthetic. The polar white sheer softly diffuses the light and provides window dressing without feeling heavy, maintaining a light and airy feel.

Sitting centrally between the two spaces, the state-of-the-art cinema room reveals itself behind a remotely controlled curtain. Designed as a family space to be enjoyed by all ages, fabric-panelled walls cleverly conceal twelve surround-sound speakers that create an immersive experience that both looks and sounds as impressive as it feels

At the heart of the room sits the Brookman Sofa and two footstools, which double up as extra seating or for optimal lounging. Upholstered in the durable Lavenham fabric, every element of the room has been carefully considered to create a space that is comfortable, functional and effortlessly stylish.
