Our interior design team have been busy working with a client and their modern country cottage renovation. We couldn’t help but share some ‘work in progress’ snaps of one of the rooms we have been creating unique soft furnishings for. The main bedroom needed a centre piece to bring the room to life amongst the vaulted ceilings and oak beams. Our interior designer and the client worked together to create this beautiful look with a luxurious velvet climbing tree design with warm coral pink and ivory flowerheads on a smart taupe ground. Dark red trimming frames the lovely Oriental Bird Velvet Fabric, making it a stand out feature of the bedroom.
The made to measure cushions accentuate the wonderful colour palette, bringing out the soft pinks and accents of green and red. To finish the look pom-pom and ribbon trimmings were added to give the cushions a unique character. This project is coming together well, we are looking forward to seeing the finishing touches complete once the customer has moved in.
A soft taupe velvet fabric by GP & J Baker with ivory, red, and pink flowerheads blossoming out from climbing branches. An assortment of birds perch amongst the foliage in complementing colours.
A Georgian house guest room at Henge Estate, put together by Victoria the owner. The fresh green walls and traditional furnishings make for a welcoming bedroom, with Coromandel fabric by Lewis & Wood featuring on the headboard against the delightful green.
These beautiful upholstered headboard ideas will prove that your bedhead can be the focal point of the room. It’s the perfect place to start when styling a bedroom. The humble headboard often gets overlooked in favour of other furnishings, curtains, and soft furnishings.
