1. Head Back in Time with Amberley Museum

Located in the heart of the beautiful Sussex countryside, this dog-friendly museum welcomes pets and their owners for a day out with a difference. Amberley Museum showcases and preserves the rural, transport, industrial and communications history of the south of England for the learning and enjoyment of today’s visitors and future generations. With some of the last surviving examples of steam locomotives on display, visitors can spend the day learning about the industries and rural crafts that have shaped this part of Sussex. Well-behaved dogs are allowed in all exhibition buildings, on their bus, train and in their Limeburners Cafe, so no one will feel left out!

2. Sleep Amongst the Trees with Tree House Retreats

3. Ride the Kent & East Sussex Railway Together

WILD CARD: Day Trip at Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens

Although it's a little further afield, we couldn’t not mention this incredible day out that the whole family will enjoy. Winner of the ‘ ‘Be Dog Friendly’ Awards for two years in a row, the Cotswold Wildlife Park has been welcoming dogs since it first opened in 1970. The only large zoological collection in the UK to allow your canine friend to join you on your ‘walking safari’, all well-behaved dogs, and humans, can get close to the the spectacular wildlife that roams this carefully landscaped park set in the beautiful Bradwell Grove Estate.
