Floral Wallpaper in Cottage Bedroom | Lewis & Wood

We’re excited to share a glimpse of our Design Director Emma's cottage bedroom. She has welcomed us into her beautiful space, where a delightful blend of floral and woodland patterns creates a cosy, charming environment. We love the palette of soft pinks, blues and neutral tones that seamlessly tie the space together, complementing the exposed wood and brickwork in the room. The wallpaper is Fleurie by Lewis & Wood, which pairs well with the headboard fabric as well as the arrangement of cushions and other bedroom accessories.

Mixing Patterns...

The wallpaper features illustrative florals, insects and woodland animals in berry red, blue and taupe on an off-white ground. The bedroom is further enhanced by a pink trim running along the edge of the skirting board, adding texture while echoing the beautiful pink tones within the wallpaper. Made to measure curtains in a blue leaf curtain fabric by Fermoie introduce a contrasting floral pattern, while drawing out the various blue hues found throughout the space. Mixing patterns and colours in this way brings added character and tonal depth, transforming the interior into a richer, more layered scheme.
