We’re excited to share a glimpse of our Design Director Emma's cottage bedroom. She has welcomed us into her beautiful space, where a delightful blend of floral and woodland patterns creates a cosy, yet charming environment. We love the palette of soft pinks, blues, and neutral tones that seamlessly tie the space together, complementing the natural wood and brickwork in the room. The wallpaper is Fleurie by Lewis & Wood, which pairs well with the headboard fabric as well as the arrangement of cushions and other bedroom accessories.
The wallpaper depicts illustrative florals, insects and woodland animals in berry red, blue and taupe, on an off white ground. The bedroom also features a pink trim running along the edge of the skirting board, adding texture and complementing the gorgeous pinks within the wallpaper design. The Liana curtain fabric by Fermoie adds a different floral style whilst drawing out the various blue tones within the room. Mixing patterns and colours in this way can transform an interior by bringing in more character and tonal depth.
"Of course working at F&P Interiors I am always surrounded by the most beautiful designs and when it comes to choosing what to have in my own home it can be quite a task, albeit a fun one!
I have always been a fan of Lewis and Wood, and their designs already feature elsewhere in my home. However, when I saw the Fleurie wallpaper, I just knew that this would be the perfect design for my bedroom."
