We are delighted to see these beautiful handmade cushions and curtains in place at our client's home in Virginia, US. When working with Hannah, our Interior Designer, the client was looking to create a sophisticated English country feel in her living room using soft furnishings. We enjoy working with many international customers like this. Tools like Pinterest and Zoom can help us personalise our service and collaboration to build their dream interior.
Hannah created this collection of cushions to include a warm check wool, a classic woven William Morris design and deep velvets, complete with fringes and piping, to give them a luxury bespoke finish. The rest of the room presents the perfect canvas for these delightful fabrics to feature, alongside the brick fireplace, oak beams and fresh cream tones. The full length curtains complement the earthy tones and blue colour palette used in the space, whilst the expressive painterly pattern and linen ground of the drapes softens the whole room.
The full length curtains are made in Wild Thing fabric by Lewis & Wood, a lovely painterly floral design in duck egg blue, burnt orange and navy blue on a neutral linen base. A small decorative border lines the vertical edge of the fabric, making it perfect for curtains.
Bellflower Weave fabric by Morris & Co is used on a cushion. A small scale detailed floral design in deep blue and taupe. This sturdy fabric is ideal for cushions or furniture upholstery and would complement a country house style interior perfectly. A soft fringe trim, Cocktail by Andrew Martin is added to give it some luxury softness.
We are so impressed by this beautifully finished powder room. The customer has created a luxurious bathroom using Honshu wallpaper in neutral and green tones, matched with deep green metro tiles. Read on to see the end result...
