A country house hallway located at The Studio Melrose, near Bowden, the Scottish Borders. A classic William Morris wallpaper hangs on the grand walls, approved by visitors, Fizz and Bob the pet lambs. The Pimpernel print suits the space perfectly, with its design reflecting the outside in, in an elegant colour palette of sage green vines layered on a dark green ground, and warm neutrals flower heads, perfectly matched to the jute rug and cream woodwork.

Morris himself favoured this design and used it in his dining room at Kelmscott House.
