Sheer Linen Curtains | Modern Country Interiors

F&P had the pleasure of working with Vivienne Cutler, an interior stylist based in West Sussex. Our skilled design expert, Rose, worked closely with Vivienne to provide sheer curtains for the bifold doors in her living room. These full-length curtains add a softness to the space without compromising its polished, modern look. They offer shade during the summer months and create a cozy atmosphere in the winter. As the finishing touch to this open-plan living area, we love the completed look of this modern country home.

About the Design...

The wide width curtain fabric in the living room is Bordean in Oyster by Titley & Marr, suggested by Rose. These are an excellent choice for sheers as the linen mix filters the light through the windows, rather than blocking it out, whilst still providing a level of seclusion. The entire length of each curtain has also been weighted with a chain rather than discs to stop them blowing out of the doors when open. A practical yet elegant addition to the room, contrasted by a dark taupe paint on the walls.

Completing the seating area are two square footstools which have been re-upholstered in Ian Mankin's Ticking Stripe 02. The subtle sage green stripe adds character to the room and we love how these have turned out.

Moving into the kitchen, we have also fitted some elegant relaxed roman blinds which adds a cosy and homey feel to the bright window space. This fabric is Sava Linen by Linwood in Rocksalt.
