Our pick of the best dog friendly hotels offers everything from gourmet treats to complimentary welcome packs and Pooch Parlours. Whether you're seeking a break in the countryside or a stay in the capital, these pet friendly retreats will provide a well-deserved break that you dog will enjoy as much as you do.

Dartmoor National Park, Devon

Bovey Castle

This dog friendly resort in Devon offers a truly palatial stay for both owners and their four-legged friends. Set within 275 acres of beautiful countryside within Devon's Dartmoor National Park, the hotel offers 60 individually-designed country house bedrooms along with 22 self-catering country lodges tucked away within the grounds. Guests can eat at the two newly refurbished restaurants and enjoy the luxurious on-site spa or head out for a game on their award-winning 18-hole championship golf course.

On arrival dogs will receive a welcome letter along with a complimentary bed, bowl, toys and a chew. Dumfriesshire, Scotland

Trigony House Hotel & Garden Spa

One of the loveliest Scottish country hotels, Trigony House is set in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway.
