Teal and Yellow Living Room

11th September 2017

We are loving the vibrancy of this room. An eclectic mix of pattern and colour together with antiques and modern objets.  The painting being the focus of the room, the teal drawing out the colour and then being brilliantly complimented by the blinds, curtains and sofa.

Teal and Yellow Living Room Ideas

Paint, Curtains and Blinds

This Midnight Blue paint by Sanderson in a rich teal colour has been used in an eggshell finish which is ideal for wood panelling.

The stunning Papaver fabric with it's stylised poppy design has been used for simple curtains and the sofa frame, offset against roman blinds and seat cushion in a striking trellis print.

Furniture and Lighting

The elegant Lewes Chair upholstered in a plain chenille or velvet provides the perfect contrast for the sofa and it's heady mix of prints.

Mis-matched, but co-ordinated neutral lamps finish off the look. The Babylon Table Lamp and Elenor Table Lamp are just the ticket styled with the 16" Linen Flat Drum Lampshade in Oyster.

The eclectic mix of patterns can be further complemeneted with cushions in a classic toile such as this Cheng Toile Fabric featuring Japanese Pagodas.
