A timeless fabric design, originally created in approximately 1900 by well-known French, Art Nouveau designer, R. Beauclair. ‘Ianthe’ is Greek for purple or violet flowers. This suggests that the flowers in the design may have originally been drawn from violets. It is shown here in a blue dark grey and off-white on linen material.
