Grey and Red Living Room

3rd September 2019

A fantastic example of adding a bold colour into a room. This scheme is cleverly balanced by using plain curtain and upholstery fabrics alongside the dramatic grey feature wallpaper. Clean contemporary lines created by the deep curtain pelmets and heavy set coffee table, sit perfectly in contrast with the rolled top accent chairs and curved silhouettes of the accessories and lamps. Contrast piping on the cushions and subtle braid edging on the curtains cleverly introduces red into different areas of the room and ties the whole colour scheme together.

Walls and Curtains

This Nuvolette Wallpaper of great billowing clouds with Half Quartz Grey Paint makes an amazing statement in this large room.

Lustre is one of our favourite fabrics, it is so smart and drapes beautifully, the addition of the red Samba Braid on the leading edges is stunning!

Sofa and Cushions

A lovely comfy Bramshott Sofa to collapse into, covered in a 'stormy' Savile Row Wool to complement the wallpaper.

Cushions on the sofa in the red geometric Grand Kyoto and a Brocatello Damask design with red Leather Piping.

A classic Maplehurst Armchair covered in the same Brocatello Damask as the sofa cushions. Downs Tub Chairs in light grey Arthur's Seat Wool and Iggy red faux leather adding to the accent colour of the room.
