An innovation in fabric design, the Kalamkari Panel is inspired by an antique woodblock design from the south-east of India. It features large scale Cypress tree motifs and intricate paisley detail, flanked by horizontal bands of rich patternl in a deep, barn red and indigo colour scheme.
The panel can be used whole - to make a door curtain, wall-hanging or bedspread, for example - or alternatively can be shortened by removing horizontal strips, then using the off-cuts creatively to make complementary items such as cushions or lampshades that will bring your whole look together. You can also join panels together edge to edge, with or without the narrow side border.
