Fleurs Etoilees Kit Kemp Style Bedroom

25th August 2021

This vibrant room is typical of many of interior designer, Kit Kemp's Firmdale Hotels bedrooms. The statement headboard sits as the focal point of the room and is upholstered in a bold green printed linen to create a sense of drama. This continues in the printed fabrics found on the footstall and the bold upholstery of the chairs. The curtains are made in her own fabric design for Christopher Farr Cloth and add a slightly more calming tribal air to the room.

Walls and Curtains

This Largo Weave textured wallcovering gives warmth to the room and a lovely finish to the walls. It is subtle enough to use on all four walls and the faux grasscloth composition makes it hardwearing.

Travelling Light Linen Fabric has a tribal-influenced design for the curtains and adds a weightlessness around the windows that lets the light stream into the room.

Headboard and Footstool

This Chloe Custom Headboard creates a wonderful focal point in the room, particularly when upholstered in the ever-popular Fleurs Etoilees fabric designed by Raoul Dufy.

The bespoke Nuthurst stool at the foot of the bed covered in a blue and white, Belfour Linen contemporary fabric adds another stunning pattern into the room.

Occasional Chairs

Our compact Bolney desk chair upholstered in Melton Wool in cornflower blue with Mikado Velvet in olive green will create the signature Kit Kemp contrast on the top.

Our Downs Tub Chair covered in the hard-wearing Cocteau fabric in this rich green colourway will add another pattern into the room that can be appreciated up close.
