Our F&P Christmas Wish List

25th November 2021

We’re quietly confident that we’ve made the ‘nice’ list this Christmas, so in anticipation, the team have been compiling their wish lists which - unsurprisingly - contain a variety of unique and exciting home furnishings and accessories. We hope you’re listening Santa...

Sultan Indoor / Outdoor Rug

Our Interior Design Assistant Sophia has this beautiful, Moorish inspired indoor / outdoor rug at the top of her wish list this year. She says,

"I would love to have this rug in the living room of my Victorian House as the design is such a nod to an antique rug. The earthy tones really warm up a space and would help to disperse colour around any room. I also love that it's made entirely from recycled bottles and hand loomed making it a really eco friendly chocie for my home."

Birds of Paradise Drum Pendant Lampshade

Alice, our content and e-marketing executive, is hoping to find this playful, fringed, statement lampshade from MINDTHEGAP under her tree this year. She says...

"I am renovating our new home and would love this Birds of Paradise lampshade to make a really nice statement in our living room. We have high ceilings so the room could afford a large central pendant and as it is south facing, we are planning on filling the room with lots of houseplants, natural woods and personal handicraft nick-nacks that we have collected from our travels in Central America. I think the tropical rainforest vibe will go really well with the look we hope to achieve and I love the bright yellow contrast fringing. I would use it as inspiration for a couple of feature cushions to tie it into the rest of the room, along with the sage greens and salmon pinks."

Andalucia Cadiz Footstool

Jasmine from our Made to Measure team is busy getting everyones bespoke orders sorted in time for Christmas, and is hoping that while she playing Mrs Claus in the office the elves will remember to put this rather charming footstool to one side for her. She says...

"I would love to find one of these footstools under my tree this year! It's such a gorgeous piece and the tribal design is so subtle and unexpected in this pale colour paletter. I also really love the ethos behind the company making their products out of recycled plastic bottles!"

Round Pelican Artwork

Our Head of Development, Heather, has been dropping hints about this antique art reproduction for a while. She says...

"Top of my Christmas wish list would be this Pelican artwork, it would fit perfectly into my eclectic style home. I like to collect art and trinkets and I love the round shape of this print, it would add another style to my art wall that is always a work in progress."

Zabola Linen Cushion

Gina, our Content and Ecommerce Assistant, has not one, but two of these stunning Zabola Linen Cushions on her list this year. She says...

"I am obsessed with the folksy feel to the embroidery on these cushions. I'm not normally a florals girl at all but these are giving me major Gucci vibes. It's also a well known fact that I am a sucker for quite literally anything with tassels or fringing so these are really ticking all the boxes for me. I would love a pair to add some drama to our sofa!"
