Restaurants with Incredible Interiors

26th August 2017

Be careful not to drop your dinner in your lap as you gaze at the stunning interiors of these London restaurants. From lavishly upholstered furniture to showstopping walls and floors, feast your eyes on these top style-savvy spots...

The Ivy Chelsea Garden, London

The Ivy Chelsea Garden

Decorated with a distinctly botanical theme, The Ivy Chelsea Garden, located on London’s bustling King’s Road, is sure to impress with its stunning interiors. Greenery is the theme throughout, from the lush trellised walls, hanging baskets and huge leafy patterns adoring chairs and furnishings, to the extensive garden and magnificent orangery.

We love the rich, earthy tones and mesmerising patterns – and were thrilled to spot the dazzling Bargello Fabric by Zoffany!

Designed by British artist David Shrigley, the interiors ooze comfort and style, with a strikingly-lit bar and plump chairs arranged in cosy nooks, overlooked by rows of Shrigley’s original and witty artworks.

Hispania, London

Hispania

Decorated by renowned interior designer Lorenzo Castillo and chosen in 2015 by Gaston Y Daniela as the venue in which to exhibit their fabric collection of the same name, celebrated Spanish restaurant Hispania has certainly earned its style points.

The impressive 9,000 square feet of space, housed within a National Heritage Site, has been carefully dressed to exude Spanish style and culture whilst preserving the building’s original features. Think brightly coloured Andalusian floor tiles set beneath the impressive balustrades and original bronze light fittings.

Seven Park Place, St James Hotel & Club

With its exquisite menu of classic French dishes made using locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients, Seven Park Place has earned itself a number of prestigious awards including four AA rosettes and a Michelin star every year it has been open.

The magnificent dining area, replete in rich colour and ornate pattern, has an elegant yet intimate atmosphere, no doubt enhanced by the beautiful Sea Thistle Wallpaper by Neisha Crosland.

The Courtyard at Blakes

The Courtyard at Blakes

The Blakes Hotel courtyard in South Kensington has recently been given a refresh by British fashion and interior designer Matthew Williamson. Displaying his signature love of vibrant colour, lush foliage and Mediterranean-inspired pattern, Matthew has added bold stone floor tiling, a lavish domed birdcage with an antique gold exterior and a graphic wall mural complete with whimsical 3D zebra!

To furnish the space, Matthew has included fabric designs from his latest collection Durbar for Osborne & Little, in the form of bench and seat cushions and a striking tablecloth.
