Create a Beautiful Bedroom featuring Strawberry Thief Velvet

21st September 2021

One of William Morris's most iconic designs, Strawberry Thief was first produced in 1883 as a printed fabric. But when Morris & Co decided to release it as a sumptuous velvet, we couldn't resist creating a beautiful, feminine bedroom scheme with the infamous bird design claiming lead role!

Walls and Headboard

Sandersons Light Rose paint is so lovely and the perfect backdrop to a tranquil bedroom.

This gorgeous Strawberry Thief Velvet Fabric is perfect for a Made to Measure Headboard. Swiss Velvet Piping then completes the look as a trim.

Throw, Cushions, and Ottoman

Create a throw in either the lovely washed Cybele Linen, or the Quartz Velvet. Together with some pretty cushions in the Bakers Cherbury Printed Linen, these could also be backed in velvet.

A box ottoman for the end of the bed is great for storage as well as somewhere to put the cushions on at night, this Madhu Fabric is perfect.

Bedroom Chair or Stool

The luxurious Manipur Velvet adds texture and wamth into the scheme. Choose from either the coral pink or duck egg blue and feature it on a chair or stool at your dressing table.

Our Amberley armless chair is the perfect occasional chair to throw your clothes on before sinking into your luxurious bed for a good nights sleep!
