We were excited to receive photos from this ongoing interior design project. Our customer was looking to add character and warmth to her country cottage home. Situated in the most idyllic location – a historic park in the south downs – it was important to match the exquisite views with equally stunning soft furnishings.
Phase one of the project saw Hannah, our interior designer, create this charming scheme for the customer's kitchen/dining room. This open-plan space is the hub of the family, and Hannah worked with the client to source the perfect mix of stylish and practical fabric for the curtains, blinds, seat pads and cushions.
"The curtains look really great – very nice colours and warmth. We are delighted so far with everything installed, it's a breath of fresh air having curtains which actually open and close properly"

The Corin braid was the key feature for this room, added to the made-to-measure plain linen curtains and roman blinds, it unites this multi-functional space. Highly practical, Saline Fabric, a weighty, washable linen, was used for the dining-table seat pads. The look was completed with a contrast piping to further tie-in the warm tones used across the scheme.
Perfect for both colour and pattern lovers, this on-trend interior style teams the old with the new. Discover how to get the look in your own home.
