The large entrance hall to this Grade II listed house has been turned into the most welcoming of spaces. With plenty of light and a roaring fire, the large rug sets the colour palatte for this room, a Nina Campbell floral for the curtains and blinds, two lovely deep comfy sofas with plenty of room for a collection of cushions, and a pretty tablecloth, create an elegant seating area to entertain friends or curl up with a book.

A neutral paint to keep the room light and airy.

The curtains here are in the Nina Campbell Parvani fabric, which is is a lovely floral fabric with whimsical birds.

As the main window is beside the front door we thought it nice to line the curtains in this pretty Petra fabric

The Orchard Woven fabric is used on one of the sofas, it sits very well with the curtain fabric, a self pattern that doesn't fight.

Two bespoke sofas with nice deep seats so plenty of room for cushions

This lovely Blake fabric used on the second sofa has a softness but is also hardwearing.

There is plenty of wood in this room so it was rather nice to include a circular table with a cloth in the pretty Patola Paisley fabric

This beautiful printed velvet makes sumptous cushions.

A fun print for cushions the Pikat fabric has a stylised ikat peacock design.

A spotty velvet to add a bit of playfulness.

This beautiful braid by Colefax & Fowler adds another dimension to the whole scheme, used with a plain ivory linen.

A few plain linen cushions, to balance out the colours.
