The perfect balance of magenta pink and navy, this bedroom creates a stunning central focus point with it's handmade headboard and matching chair.
This charming bedroom may not be big in size but it is certainly big in character. Being a slightly wonky cottage bedroom, its walls were not suitable for wallpaper. As a result the design brief was to add pattern and detail through the custom made headboard and upholstered chair.
A Very Happy Customer...
"I am are so pleased with how the room looks now. It's made a huge difference and I'm always looking forward to bedtime!"
Keeping the headboard shape simple allows for the pink fabric design to take centre stage, sadly this large woven design has now been discontinued but we’ve put together some alternative fabric suggestions for you. We've certainly noticed an increase in the popularity of statement headboards and with our bespoke services and extensive fabric collection it's easy to create something truly unique for your room.
Adding a matching upholstered chair is practical as well as stylish. It brings the rich magenta pink tones to other areas of the room, ensuring no expanse of plain painted wall space. In addition, it gives this bedroom another inviting place to sit and relax. We love the choice of a plain navy as contrasting piping detail on the matching seating. It highlights the craftsmanship and skill that has gone into re-upholstering this chair.
The finishing touches may seem small but they can really make a room. Here we see navy bespoke lampshades, a mixture of scatter cushions and a pink ombre throw. They all bring this interior design scheme together to create a bright yet homely feel to this cottage bedroom.
