An Indonesian dyeing technique that involves binding sections of thread to resist the dye, once woven together they create striking patterns that are full of colour and movement. With a characteristic blurriness due to the hand-crafted nature of lining up the yarns, our collection of ikat fabrics emulate this distinctive style. 1. Benaki Ikat Linen Fabric
A beautiful, rich, cream printed linen, featuring a mediterranean inspired ikat in russet and teal. Painted by talented textile designer Claire Hayward, this bold design is based on a black and white photograph found in a woven Greek textile. Now filled with colour and named after the Benaki museum in Athens where the original is stored, this ikat fabric is one of our most popular designs.

2. Pandora Ikat Fabric
A striking linen fabric with a beautiful ikat design. Printed in earthy reds, blues, greys, and browns, it instantly adds movement and a punch of colour to an interior scheme.

2. Anatolia Ikat Fabric
Inspired by Persian carpets with antique characteristics, this hand-printed design features neutrals medallions with green, yellow, brown, and red accents, on a duck egg blue base.

4. Ikat Stripe Fabric
A beautiful pure cotton cloth featuring an ikat stripe printed in cardinal red and charcoal grey, with touches of tangerine on a light beige ground. Perfect for both soft furnishings and occasional upholstery, this design will make for a striking centre piece in a room.
